This award winning park development is a unique peak into the historical past of the City of El Monte. Many actual historical artifacts and structures have been conspired and strategically displayed throughout the park site. These pieces of history, such as; an actual farm and water tower, a wood beam jail house with steel bar window and door, and a authentic pioneer covered wager were relocated and placed within a setting consisting of a planting palette typical of the era. Additional amenities were add such as stone seat wall, stone fountain and monument, wood trellis structure and D. G. paths, all to exemplify this park as the end of the Santa Fe Trail
